Day 1 Friday or Monday Arrive in Kathmandu by flight (Dinner)
Arrival in Kathmandu. Meet the guide at the airport and transfer to hotel. Time permitting, go for a leisurely walk. In the evening, you are invited for dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant with cultural performance. Overnight in Kathmandu Shanker hotel ★★★★


Day2 Saturday or Tuesday Kathmandu tour (Breakfast)
Sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley; Pashupatinath-the holiest Hindu Temple on the bank of Bagmati River, Boudhanath Stupa-the largest Buddhist shrine in Nepal and Bhakapur and Patan Cities. Bhaktapur is the best preserved of the three medieval Malla principalities and has palaces, temples and monastic complexes with intricate wood and metal carvings. In the afternoon, we visit Patan which is renowned as the cit of arts and crafts. Here also, we visit the palace, temple and monasteries with beautiful architecture. Day 3 Sunday or Wednesday Kathmandu tour (Breakfast)
Explore more of Kathmandu Valley. Visit Patan-famed as the city of arts and crafts, Swayambhunath Stupa-the 2000 years old Buddhist Shrine, Kathmandu Durbar Square with former Royal Palace and the traditional hub of Kathmandu-Assan and Indrachowk. Overnight in Kathmandu Shanker Hotel ★★★★

 

Day 4 Monday or Thursday Kathmandu to Paro (Bhutan) by flight (Breakfast, lunch, Dinner))
Transfer to airport for flight to Paro, Bhutan. It’s a spectacular flight rewarding you views of Mount Everest and many other majestic Himalayan Peaks. Upon arrival at Paro airport, you are met by Bhutanese guide and transfer to a hotel. After lunch and some rest, visit the national museum housed in the ancient watch tower and in the evening visit the impressive Rinphung Dzong. Stroll around the town and enjoy dinner at the local town restaurant. Overnight in Paro Gantey Hotel A Level


Day 5 Tuesday or Friday Paro Hike to Taktsang -Thimpu (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Today, you have an option to hike to Taktsang or spend the day visiting sites in the valley. You can make this decision, when you are in Bhutan. The day hike to the famous Taktsang monastery can also be done for the uphill part on a back of mule. It takes about 2 hours of steep uphill walking to tea house, which is almost directly across the deep gorge from Taktsang, providing great view of the monastery and the surrounding. If you feel like, you can hike further to Taktsang, which takes another hour each way. Lunch at the tea house and return trek downhill to the trailhead. Visit Drugyal Dzong, now in ruins and en-route to Paro, visit 7th century Kyichu temple and typical Bhutanese farm house. In the late afternoon, drive to Thimphu. Day 6 Wednesday or Saturday Thimpu tour (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Typical sightseeing in Thimphu include visits to late king’s memorial chorten, the nunnery at Zilukha, the traditional painting and craft school, the national library, the indigenous hospital, folk heritage museum, textile museum, the hand-made paper factory, Zangdopelri temple, the handicraft centers, Simtokha Dzong and visit Tashichho Dzong, the main secretariat building, which houses the offices of the government ministries, the office of the king, throne room, and the office and living quarters of the central monk body and its head abbot. On Saturdays & Sundays, you will also be able to visit the colorful weekend market. The above sightseeing will be spread out over the period of stay in Thimphu. Overnight and dinner in the Riverview hotel at Thimphu. A Level


Day 7 Thursday or Monday Thimpu- Phuntsholing (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
After breakfast, leave Thimphu for the southern border town of Phuntsoling. It takes about 6 hours to complete this journey. The road goes through the forested hills and villages. Visit Kharbandi Monastery on the way. Check in hotel and later stroll in the township. Phuntsoling is largely a commercial town and very much Indian in character and has nothing significant to offer the tourists. A level

 

Day 8 Friday or Tuesday Phuntsholing- Darjeeling (Breakfast)
Today you will be driving through the sub-himalayan regions in the eastern India, which presents a large range of foothill forests, famous tea gardens, transparent rivers interspersed with quiet villages and small townships of vibrant culture before arriving Darjeeling. Check in hotel and stroll in the Chowrasta. Overnight in Darjeeling Viceroy Hotel or similar ★★★★

 

Day 9 Saturday or Wednesday  Darjeeling tour (Breakfast)
Darjeeling perched at height of 2,134m. is the most important and organized hill resort in eastern India. Darjeeling tea is world renowned for it’s unique and delicate aroma. The interesting places to visit are Himalayan mountaineering institute museum, Zoological Park and Ghoom Monastery. Also experience the toy train ride briefly. Day 10 Sunday or Thursday Darjeeling- Gangtok, Sikkim (Breakfast)
Today we drive to Gangtok the capital of Sikkim. En route we visit Rumtek monastery, which is dedicated to Kargyugpa sect of Buddhism, this monastery is the largest one in Sikkim and is famous for its fine Tibetan architecture. In Gangtok, you would love to stroll in the bustling market of locals. Overnight in Gangtok Netuk House Hotel or similar ★★★★


Day 11 Monday or Friday Gangtok tour (Breakfast)
You will also visit the research institute of Tibetology which is world famous for its research activities on the Tibetan language and culture. The Phurba Chhorten contends a complete set of holy books, mantras, religious articles and relics. Visit the orchid garden and the bustling market of Gangtok. Day12 Tuesday or Saturday Gangtok to Delhi by flight (Breakfast)
After breakfast, we leave for Bagdogra Airport, which takes about 4 hours along the mountainous road.
Board on flight to New Delhi- the capital city of India. Upon arrival, meet our local representative and transfer to hotel. Time permitting, visit Kutub Minar and Humayun’s Tomb in Old Delhi or in option visit India Gate, see the President’s Palace from outside etc. Overnight in Delhi Star Grand Villa Hotel or similar ★★★★

 

Day 13 Wednesday or Sunday Delhi departure by flight to home country (Breakfast)
After breakfast, you are transferred to the airport in time for your flight back to your home country.
